Steve Gallagher is an established still life photographer based in London. Steve’s passion for photography came when studying graphic design and photography at college, he loved the use of colour and was inspired by artists such as Andy Warhol, Irving Penn, David Hockey, Guy Bourdin, and Roy Lichtenstein. After studying at the University of Gloucestershire he moved to London and assisted for a number for years learning the trade using film and digital formats also gaining a vast range of lighting skills, before setting up own his own. He shoots for a wide range of editorial and commercial clients. Steve has become well known for his distinctive style of photography which sets him apart from his peers. He has fine tuned his photographic style over a number of years, taking an mundane object and bringing it to life through his skilled knowledge of lighting and post production, resulting in a eye catching photograph displaying incredible texture and detail.
