Surreal fashion by photographer R. Bartholot

Robert Bartholot is a photographer based in Berlin, Germany, composing sharp surreal statements of fashion. After studying art history and design he joined the support team of Spanish photographer Álvaro Villarrubia. His influences varies from Jean-Paul Goude to Pina Bausch as well as Bauhaus artists like Oskar Schlemmer. Also the impressive thing is that he is both a photographer and an art director, involved in every step of the creative process.
Robert Bartholot’s art is something between photography, graphic design, illustration and sculpture. We could probably throw in painting and light installations in there too…
