Creative portraits by Sari Soininen

Based in Helsinki, Sari Soininen is an internationally recognized Finnish fine artist and photographer. Sari holds a MA in photography from UWE Bristol (2021), she also holds a BA from Lahti Institute of Design (2014), and and got the chance to carry out exchange studies in Edinburgh College of Art (2013).

Her colorful and inspiring otherworldly photography draws from philosophical thoughts and personal, mystical experiences. She is interested by providing the viewer with alternative ways of seeing the world and reality around them. She uses long shutter speed, color gels and projection to build dreamlike alternate realities within the moment. Represented by marievalat.com
