Sam Chivers is a British illustrator who often creates surreal sci-fi infused imagery. Born in 1974, he Graduated with a BA in Illustration at Porstmouth University, and now explores the relationship between science and the natural world. Inspired by European comics and fantasy art of the 1970s and 80s his work is also informed by the natural and agricultural landscape native to his surroundings in the East Sussex countryside. Sam Chivers has worked with various clients including Playstation, New Scientist, The economist, Washington post, Telegraph Magazine, NoBrow, Foreign policy magazine, Easyjet, Fast Company, Tesco, Dubai 2020, Hoheluft Magazin, New Republic Wired (UK) (Germany) Bulletin Magazine, Nautilus, The Planner, Economia, and Samsung.
