Colorful paintings by Andrew Hem

Mister Andrew Hem is a young artist who was born in Cambodia and now lives in California. He started getting into graffiti at 12 and then continued for about 9 years (getting into nothing but trouble) before working as a painter. Andrew Hem does not update his portfolio so the recent images are quite rare on the internet.
However his fresh paintings are powerful and full of vivid colors, a dream like distillation of his experiences and travels through the years. He recently worked on a series of frames about his studio, these are very large paintings, some are based on Francis Bacon’s studio in London.
