Desiree Dolron is a Dutch contemporary photographer born in Haarlem, Netherlands, who won a Prix de Rome (Netherlands) in 1996. She had several exhibitions over the two past decades and many publications in art literature and magazines. Her series (Exaltation, gaze, xteriors…) are documentaries or studies where are mixed religion, bodies or classical portraits in beautiful frames of darkness and light. Desiree Dolron is obviously inspired by classical painters from different periods and schools, with deep technical skills and spiritual awareness.
