Narrative poetry by Suji Park
Korean artist Suji Park is a 24 years old photographer working between France and South Korea. She first studied Marketing in Michigan, USA before making the choice to work with her passion, photography. Her style is full soft and delicate, full of mystery. Suji Park was very nice to answer a couple of my questions… She says having various inspiration sources such as innocence, nostalgia, light, and dreams. However, the biggest influences on her works probably are poems. Especially ones of Rimbaud but not only Rimbaud’s works, also his life and vision. She always look for poems and stories to stay inspired. Rainer Maria Rilke is another poet who influences her photography these days… France is very inspiring place to stay, Suji Park likes where the modern time and the past coexist. Visiting old houses and walking on streets that are a few hundred years old give her tremendous inspirations.
