“Hipsters in stone” by photographer Leo Caillard
Leo Caillard is one of these emerging artist developing a singular personal vision. Overlapping photography, technology, and imagination, his meticulously crafted images combine a delicate intertwining of the new and the historic. “Hipsters in stone” created with the help of art director Alexis Persani, is a series mixing two photos, one of a statue and one of a model with clothes. The result is fun and beautiful, particularly well executed and obviously fitted for a fashion display of casual wear. The body of work reassigns the classical figures of the Louvre’s extensive sculpture collection in today’s contemporary style. Represented by ZEYNEP.
