Wide angle urban illustrations and sketches by Ryo Takemasa

Ryo Takemasa is a young illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Musashino Art School and from Musashino Art University. Works as a freelance illustrator since 2010. His work are are featuring in books, magazines, advertising, etc. His style is minimalist in some Japanese way, very close to street sketches. He uses a unique wide angle point of view with exaggerated perspectives. His portfolio also shows animals and foods on a more conventional expression. Ryo Takemasa is a member of Illustrators TSUSHIN and Tokyo Illustrators Society. He was selected for Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2012 and 2015 and was in 3×3 Professional Show No.10 (Merit) and No.11 (Honorable Mention).
