Phil Noto is an American artist and comic illustrator. He is known for is work on Jonah Hex, X-23, Uncanny X-Force and Black Widow (Marvel). After 10 years spent at Disney Animation, he started working full time for his own clients: Marvel, DC Comics, J. Scott Campbell (Danger Girl), Wizard or Dark Horse. Nominated to the Eisner Awards for his work on The Infinite Horizon with Gerry Duggan. Phil Noto also worked on game design like BioShock. His Artbooks are published at Brandstudios. On some DVDs Phil Noto shows you his illustration techniques for creating comic book covers and pinups. Using a completely digital workflow, you can see how he goes from a preliminary sketch to finished art.
