Russ Mills AKA Byroglyphics started making images straight after leaving University in 1995… His style is in a transition from illustration to a more fine art related environment. He says the work he has on show is standardised and formulaic, he’s had a set way of working for a few years now involving an initial sketch that is worked into and then embellished on the computer. It’s a great way to cement ideas quickly but too regimented to get varied results. The computer will soon become just a sketching tool as confidence grows in real media.
