Epiclayers is graphic designer Karen To‘s portfolio. She is a young designer, illustrator and form-maker who recently graduated from CalArts BFA graphic design program and we’re proud to tell you she is available for free-lance work! I particularly love her combination of colors, her different styles of illustration and the work she did with type creation. Valerie Buess is a paper-artist born in Switzerland, and now living in Germany since more than 20 years. George Chamoun is a 26 year old Lebanese guy from Stockholm, Sweden. Currently studying for a B.A. in Jewellery Art at Konstfack. Last May during a workshop in Fine Arts, he chosed to work with movie icons from different times and mix them. The project is called “Iconatomy” from the words “icon” and “anatomy.” The pictures are not morphed in any way. What you see is a collage of two different people in each picture and it took a very long time to find the right pictures! The series is mixing Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Taylor, George Clooney and Cary Grant, Natalie Portman and Audrey Hepburn, Robert Pattinson and James Dean, Scarlett Johansson and Marilyn Monroe.

Pascal Fellonneau is a French photographer who did a few very interesting series in Iceland. The style is quite classical but he really has a very unique sense of watching things and I spent a long time across the whole portfolio (there are lots of stuff in there) liking the ideas, the surprises, the spirit, the amazing colors of it. I wish Pascal Fellonneau had a better website, anyway the images are fantastic.

Mihaela Ivanova is a Bulgarian photographer with some great simple conceptual shots and black and white series.

Michael Byers is an illustrator from Ontario, Canada. I’m just a true fan of his style. Michael uses a combination of loose, organic, spontaneous line work to create fresh, whimsical, and witty pictures. Represented by Levycreative.

Sacha Goldberger is an advertising art director who came to photography in order to make the books he wanted to publish. After working in lots of great ad agencies in paris, he started a carreer as a photographer, doing concepts, fashion and portraits. With Sacha Goldberger things are never as they should be. He is a creative man, just watch the numerous shots he did in different series, among them “Mamika” with his amazing grandmother, 92 years old.
