Jana Brike is an artist from Riga (Latvia, small country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe). Inspired by her children book illustrations, the Russian realism, Soviet animation masters or renaissance master’s biblical paintings. She creates powerful and strange imagery of ordinary scene of daily life twisted in some surreal universe. Her paintings are beautifully haunted with a particular interest to identity, sexuality or any emotional landscape.

Shohei Otomo (Hakuchi) is a famous Japanese illustrator, however he doesn’t speak English so there are very few informations on the internet about him. He is born in 1980, at Kichijoji, Tokyo. After graduating from art college, he started working as a freelance illustrator. Shohei Otomo works using a ballpoint pen, creating very detailed black and white pieces of art. His site is called “idiot land”, showing a mix of Japanese traditions and punk-rock modern style… Making references to Japanese characters like Samurai, Geisha girls or Yakuzas.

Eric Cahan is an artist from New-York city. His fine art photographs are inspired by color and nature. His influences include Mark Rothko, James Turrell, and the Light and Space movement. Eric Cahan believes that “light is not so much something that reveals, as it is itself the revelation.”
The Sky Series are initially captured as sunrises or sunsets. Cahan’s objective is to create a window into a time and a place, and to demonstrate how memories and colors shift and become abstract.

Gaetan Billault is a French graphic designer and illustrator. Having lived between Paris and Dublin for the last six years (2006-2011), he is now based in London. Gaetan Billault has a very cool and unique personal style.

Valerie Buess is a paper-artist born in Switzerland, and now living in Germany since more than 20 years. Raphaël Dautigny is a French photographer who just has updated his online portfolio. He has very interesting portrait galeries but his portfolio is also composed with great series. “The surf” is an original work about surf sessions, giving a particular importance to landscape with a distant point of view.

Claudine Doury is a French photographer based in Paris. She works on very beautiful series along her travels, witnessing the life of her daughter and friends “Sasha” or people she met like in « Peuples de Sibérie » in a sort of road movie. If you take a few minutes you’ll discover a very delicate and human sight, Claudine Doury has a particularlar skill to show the intimate issues (or questions) of teenagers, these portraits that may seem cold are, at least, very sensible.

Yuta Onoda, originally from Japan, is an illustrator and painter based in Toronto, Canada. He has developped a great personal style mixing Japanese and American influences. Marion Bolognesi is a New-York City based artist who splits her time between accessories design and a personal passion for watercolors paintings. Her style is very expressive and bold. Marion Bolognesi is having success with some commercial work in China for Rouge Magazine, she also has worked for Tank Theory or 55DSL.

Per Zennström is a contemporary photographer, filmmaker, on-line publisher, creative director and blogger. Inspired by pop-culture and digital media, he tries to turn “limitations” into opportunities. His personal style is both sophisticated and incisive. Per Zennström’s done freelance assistance work in New York for several years—as an assistant to Steven Meisel among others… and was active shooting in Paris for 13 years, with assignments for Dior, Guy Laroche, Nina Ricci, or Absolut Vodka. He moved back to Stockholm in 2005 but quickly continued on to the vibrant art capital Berlin in 2008.
In 2008, Per Zennström launched a successful blog “10horses”, he also is the Publisher and Creative Director of the on-line, pop-cultural magazine “11horses” which is emerging as an influential go-to destination & reference. He is a contributing editor to urban culture platforms such as MB magazine and Cool Shaker.
