Bastien Roger is a French director and graphic designer who has created films on different fields like fashion, music and corporate videos. Here is a nice example of a film he did in extreme sports, that is sort of a passion for this guy. Enjoy.

Alex Roman (real name is Jorge Seva) is a Spanish artist specialist of 3D renderings mostly playing with photographic techniques. After being trained in traditional painting at a few academies, he discovered the world of CG. He created a short movie (12 minutes long), 100% computer generated: TheThird&TheSeventh (see above) is a wonderful combination of photorealistic architectural renderings and stylish CG cinematography. TheThird&TheSeventh is better to view fullscreen ! It’s a full CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal.

Mark Maggiori is a French artist (painter, photographer, film maker, writer, designer and musician) who explored different styles and universes with an extremely versatile talent. The influences are sometimes very obvious from Harmony Korine (Gummo) to Hayao Miyazaki or others, however the oil on canvas, sleeve design or nude studies are really great. The Hyde Tube is a project of short-film production company Mr. Hyde. Based in Paris The Hyde Tube invites directors to submit their work (3D & mix media, Live, Animation…) to a juried online short film festival. This clever Public Relation idea is also a talent-spotter place for agencies or labels. Clients may contact The Hyde Tube in order to pass on a project to a specific director, who is then free to decide whether or not to accept it. If accepted, the director will write a treatment or make an animated test within 3 to 5 days. For this work you will receive approximately 500€. If the client is happy with the treatment and decides that the director will make the film, The Hyde Tube will connect the director with the client, and Mr Hyde or one of its affiliate studios will oversee the production until the film delivery. The director’s fee will be 10 percent of the budget, the first half payable on the first day of production and the rest upon delivery of the finished film. Lire l’article en Français.
