TheThird&TheSeventh by Alex Roman

Alex Roman (real name is Jorge Seva) is a Spanish artist specialist of 3D renderings mostly playing with photographic techniques. After being trained in traditional painting at a few academies, he discovered the world of CG. He created a short movie (12 minutes long), 100% computer generated: TheThird&TheSeventh (see above) is a wonderful combination of photorealistic architectural renderings and stylish CG cinematography. TheThird&TheSeventh is better to view fullscreen ! It’s a full CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal.

Faunesque is Philippe Constantinesco’s personal portfolio. Philippe was born in France in 1982. After having completed his studies in visual communication in Strasbourg, he founded Zurich29 with Dorian Gourg (art directors studio, motion & static designers) and has been pursuiing his career in Paris since 2006. Hitotzuki is the beautiful collaboration of two Japanese artists: Kami and Sasu. Since 1999 Kami creates strong wavy lines and Sasu paints colorful geometrical patterns. Together they create huge size wall paintings in Japan and abroad. Hitotzuki stands for the sun and the moon… Kami and Sasu work as a family creating an ideal image of both their lifestyle and their future.

Partfaliaz interview photographer Geof Kern

Geof Kern stands among the most awarded American photographers. With an unfettered imagination he worked for the most creative magazines and ad agencies. His very distinctive work is a combination of rationalism and conceptualism, inspired by “post-modernist” painters. She did an Artschool in Stockholm, then design studies and illustration in Australia at the University of Newcastle. I’ve seen lots of watercolor works these last days and Anneli Olander’s was particularly original.
